Sharing Resource Pools

SharedPlan Central allows you to create individual resources and use them individually or combine into resource packages.

This is an excellent way to save time and improve the accuracy of your resource allocation - create the resources and packages once and then reuse them in as many projects as you would like.

Managing resources in Central

The Central account administrator may create resources and resource packages by logging into Central and clicking on Resources in the left menu.

From there the account administrator can create individual resources as well as resource packages.

Using Resource Packages In the Central Project Editor

Once you've created resources and resource packages you can then import them to any project by opening the Central project editor, clicking on Resources (1), then click on either Import... or Import Packages... (2) and select the resources or packages that you would like to import (3).

Using Resource Packages In SharedPlan Pro

As you would expect, Pro can also use these shared resources and resource packages. Just open the Pro Resource Editor (1), then click on either Import... or Import Packages... (2) and select the resources or packages that you would like to import (3).
