Central Network Security

As we all know, the Internet is an awesome mechanism for communication. It also demands careful attention to security. With this in mind, all information transmitted between you and SharedPlan Central is protected using SSL/HTTPS. SSL is the same security system used on the Internet when you use your credit card for a purchase or access other valuable/confidential information (for instance, accessing your bank and investment accounts).

SSL provides you the assurance that you are connecting to SharedPlan Central (and not an impostor) and that your project information will not be intercepted or tampered with while on the network.

As with all password-protected systems, the weakest link is the privacy of your account login information. So, prudence demands that you take proper care of your account login information and don’t make the password easy to guess.

Central Infrastructure

Central is hosted at a secure site where they take three things very seriously: customers, servers and networks.

Their infrastructure was built from the ground up to satisfy intense demands: the best hardware, customized software, fast networks, a world class data center and redundancy galore.

If something goes wrong, we’ll fix it fast and make sure it doesn’t occur again.
