SharedPlan Knowledge Base .: General FAQ .: How do I display the date, number, and currency symbol appropriate for my location?

How do I display the date, number, and currency symbol appropriate for my location?

Note that on most systems, your locale is automatically detected and dates, numbers, and currency symbols are appropriated displayed. In some cases however the local is not properly detected. In those cases you may explicitly set your locale as described below.

On the Macintosh, select SharedPlan->Preferences..., on Windows and Linux, select Tools->Configure SharedPlan. In the General pane of the resulting window simply select the Country and Language as appropriate. When you click OK/Apply SharedPlan is required to restart. Once you restart SharedPlan the dates, number, and currency should be displayed as appropriate for the selected locale.
