Subprojects and Summary Tasks

SharedPlan allows you to create layers within the project; these layers are subprojects. Tasks that contain subprojects are known as summary tasks.

Summary tasks derive many attributes from their subtasks (cost and duration).

When all the subtasks are deleted from a summary task it reverts to a normal task.

Subprojects are a great way to hide detail in projects.
