SharedPlan offers a wide range of reports and analysis options intended to provide you with an additional perspective on your projects.
All reports and analysis is presented in your default browser. This allows you to repurpose the reports in any way you would like: it’s pure HTML so you can post the output on your intranet or mail it to a project team member – whatever you would like.
TIP: In some cases on some operating systems (mostly Windows), the browser may not become visible when the report is complete. If you do not see the report after it is requested, check your browser windows and you will find it there.
Report Menu
The following reports are available:
• Project
o General Project Report: this report provides a summary of the project in terms of schedule, cost, and other project metrics.
• Tasks
o Critical Path Report: all tasks that are on in the project critical path (marked with red dependency lines)
o Deadlines Report: lists all tasks that have been denoted as a deadline, whether or not the deadline is satisfied (all preceding tasks complete before the deadline date) and if the deadline is not satisfied which predecessor tasks violate the constraint.
o Red Task Report: all tasks that have their status set to Red will be shown in this report.
o Tasks Report: this report provides information for each task.
• Resource Pool: this report provides information for each resource.
• Customize Reports: selecting this menu item presents a window where you may select the fields that will appear in the report as well as the field used for sorting the report.
In addition to each of the reports described above, you may also select the project levels that are reported upon. The choices are:
• Report on entire project: the report will cover all entries in the project
• Report from this level down: the report will cover the current level of the project and all subprojects.
• Report on this level: the report will cover this level only.
