This window is divided in two sections; a section to set the number of work hours for regular days and a section to set the number of work hours for a selected day or repeating series of days.
NOTE: You must click the Apply button for each change to the calendar. If you do not, the most recent calendar change will be forgotten.
In the section related to setting the number of work hours for regular days you may alter the default number of work hours by using the pull down menu and changing the default of 8 to some other number.
You may also set the number of work hours for a selected day or a repeating series of days by using the lower panel in this window. Select the day that you are interested in changing by using the arrows at the top the calendar in the center (Select date section of the window) to the month of interest and then selecting the day of interest. Once you have selected the day of interest you may then set the number of work hours (0-24), frequency (One time, daily, weekly, every two weeks, monthly by date, yearly), and duration of the recurrence (the number of frequency units (i.e., days, weeks, …) for which this setting should apply) by changing the fields in the Set work hours area of the window.
By default, the calendar is set so that:
• Monday through Friday are regular working days
• Each regular working day has 8 working hours.
• Saturday and Sunday are non-working days.
NOTE: You must click the Apply button for each change to the calendar. If you do not, the most recent calendar change will be forgotten.
The calendar display contains visual clues to help you distinguish between the current day, regular working days, edited working days, and non-working days.
• Regular Working Days are not highlighted and are days where the work hours for that day are equal to the regular work hours.
• Edited Working Days are highlighted with a light gray background and are days where the work hours not 0 and not equal to the regular work hours.
• Non-working days (holidays and weekends) are highlighted with a dark gray background and are days where the number of working hours is equal to 0.
