General Configuration Panel

There are four configurable items in this window:
•    Locale (for date, number, and currency formatting)
•    Task deletion confirmation
•    Your name
•    Project Attribute Calculation.

Set Default Locale

Note that on most systems, your locale is automatically detected and dates, numbers, and currency symbols are appropriated displayed. In some case however the locale is not properly detected or you may need to work in a different locale. In those cases you may explicitly set your locale as described below.

Select the Country and Language as appropriate for you. When you click OK/Apply SharedPlan is required to restart. Once you restart SharedPlan the dates, number, and currency should be displayed as appropriate for the selected locale.

Note: SharedPlan is currently available in English only. The locale settings provide for appropriate display of dates, numbers and currency symbols.

Confirm Task Deletion

Select Yes if you would like SharedPlan to present a confirmation dialog each time you request that a task (or tasks) be deleted. Select No if would prefer to skip the confirmation dialog.

User Name

Your name as you would like for it to appear in project information and collaboration email.

Project Attribute Calculation

Serial is fine for most projects on most computers. If you have a huge project, bunches of memory, and processor power to spare then select Parallel.
