Common Task Operations in the Gantt Chart EditorCreate A Task
Click on any blank row in the Gantt Chart. The task will be created in the first blank row. Delete A Task
Click on the row and hit the Delete key. Depending on how you have SharedPlan configured you may be asked to confirm the deletion. Add A Task Dependency
Move your mouse to the right of the task timeline bar and you will see the link symbol as shown above. Click and drag to the task that you would like to follow this one. Delete A Task Dependency
Right click on the task dependency line and select Delete Link. Modify Task Information
Double click on the related row and the task info editor will be presented. Rearrange Tasks
Click on one of the parallel vertical lines at the left of each row and drag the task to order it as appropriate. Sort Tasks
Click on any of the column headers to sort the tasks by that particular attribute (Name, Days, ...) Control Which Columns Are Displayed
Click on the lines at the top of the first column in the Gantt chart and then select columns you would like displayed. |
