Central Connection Settings

The account administrator provides the private project server account name, username, and password. If you are using the public project server, then select Use public project server and enter the username and password chosen by you at sign-up. Once you have entered the appropriate information select Validate and your information will be validated with SharedPlan Central. You should have to do this setup only once (unless you change your account information: username, password).

The "Test connection" button attempts to connect to Central using the settings you provided.

The “Proxy...” button allows you to specify an indirect connection to the Internet through a proxy server.

The “Central home page..” button will open a browser window to the sharedplan.net home page where you may access public and private projects as well as manage your account as previously described.

This window also allows you to manage updates from the Central Issue Tracking system. Note that at any time you can select Central->Check for Issue Changes... to take a quick look at any new issues that may have come up or issues that may have changed in your account.
