Create A Dependency In the Visual Plan Editor

A dependency means that one task must complete before the other may begin. For example, you can't ride your bicycle until you have mounted your bicycle - riding the bike is dependent on your have hopped on.

To create a dependency click in the text area of the first task and drag into the text area of the follow on task.

Also, if you haven't yet created the follow on task you can click in the text area of the first task, drag to the right and release in any open area of the canvas and a dependent task will be created.

Note that in order to avoid project loops, all dependencies must be created left to right.
