Accessing Your Central Projects

There are two ways to interact with SharedPlan Central:
•    The desktop application may open and save projects to Central
•    The Central web administration interface where you may create and manage accounts, groups, users and associated permissions in the project server.

We’ll go into each of these in more detail later in this document.

There is very little time or effort required to complement Pro with Central. As you’ll see the interface on both the desktop application and the web administration is very intuitive and lightweight. Chances are good that you don’t need to much more than glance through this document before you are ready to begin.

Browser access

Once you've logged in to Central click on Projects in the left menu and you'll be shown a page with all projects that are available to you (read or read only)

Central Menu Items In SharedPlan Pro/cPro

As a user of the desktop application the operations related to interacting with Central appear in the Central menu (and are also under File->Central) while the operations related to interacting with your local machine appear in the File menu.

These Central related menu items are:
